Student Valentines and Lil Helper Part 2!

Ok, ok, I know Valentine's Day is tomorrow, but I just now finished my student's Valentines. I used the idea off Lindsey's blog, The Teacher's Wife and they turned out REALLY cute! I think the kids are going to love them because they are not traditional at all and they glow duh!

Oh and by the way I did NOT have a snow day! No Kansas schools got the day off, but plenty of Missouri schools did. For those that don't understand what I mean when I talk about Missouri and Kansas I really talk like they are one state, because the major cities in both states are so close together. Such a rip off, but I guess on the flip side I got some more instruction in! :)

I have to leave you with my lil helper picture tonight. He of course wanted a glow stick to play out in the snow in! I hope everyone had a SUPER Monday!

Love your valentine's...I thought about doing that, but ran out of steam. Your kids will love 'em!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for ONE snow day, just ONE...that's all I'm asking for. I think we had three last year.

Your puppy is so darn cute...mine is snuggled up against me as I type.

oh my, your dog is adorable!!! What a cutie! I love how your craft turned out--isn't Lindsey the best? Your kids will love it!

I was so excited when I saw your comment!! I am always psyched when someone can use a file! What Writer's Workshop format are you following? We are using America's Choice (it's our first year of it) and a bit of another program we've been using for years. I hope you have a nice evening!

I used these same Valentine's!!! They are so cute and cheap. They are calling for ice tomorrow, but I so don't want a snow day, delay would be nice though :) Hope you are having a great week, and Happy Vday!

I know... Kansas' weather totally let us down... again! We didn't have a snow day either, down in the Wichita area, but a few districts south and west of us did. And now the weather's warming up again this week. *sigh*

Enjoy the rest of your week!
